About 6% of U.S. hotels charge a mandatory resort or destination fee, but those fees can run $15–$50+ a night — and in Las Vegas the average is about $49 a night before tax, pushing past $51–62 after the 13.38% room tax. Marriott averages ~$50, Hyatt ~$34, Hilton ~$33, IHG ~$33 and Wyndham ~$25.
Under the FTC's 2025 all-in pricing rule, hotels must show those fees upfront in advertised prices. In practice, they show up only at checkout — unless someone prices them in first. That's exactly what HalfOff does.

How can you book cheaper than the hotel's own site?
Hotels sell through different channels at different prices — corporate contracts, wholesale wholesalers, opaque and negotiated inventory. We book from agency inventory at rates that aren't published to consumers, then itemize every fee.
Will the resort fee still hit me at the front desk?
No — we quote it as part of the total you approve. The front desk may still display the fee on your folio, but the agreed rate already includes it, so you pay what we quoted.
Do you book all-inclusive?
Yes, and it's one of our specialties. We can typically beat the resort's own website by sourcing through wholesale inventory with clear tiers and restrictions.
