1. Service overview
HalfOff is an independent discount concierge that books flights, hotels, rides and event tickets and negotiates medical, utility and telecom bills for customers in the United States. HalfOff is not an airline, hotel, event venue, energy provider or government agency.
2. Quotes are estimates
Quotes are estimates based on the details you provide and market availability at the time. Fares, rates, fees and availability change frequently; a quote is not a guaranteed price until you approve the final booking and the provider confirms it.
3. Fees
We charge a success fee only when savings are delivered, disclosed by and approved before we proceed. For bookings, the success fee is stated when you approve the offer; you pay the provider directly and pay us a separately-communicated fee on confirmed savings.
4. Authorization
By requesting a service you authorize HalfOff to act on your behalf for that specific booking or negotiation. You agree not to use our services for any unlawful purpose and to provide accurate information.
5. Provider terms apply
Each travel, ticket, energy or bill item is subject to the providing company's own terms — including their change, cancellation and refund policies — which we share with you at booking time. Refunds are governed by those provider terms; HalfOff will help you enforce claims as your advocate.
6. Cancellations & refunds
You may cancel your request any time before we start work and you approve an offer. Success fees already earned on completed work are non-refundable. Provider refundable items are processed according to the provider's policy.
7. No guarantee of savings
Savings depend on real market conditions, availability and provider decisions. We do not guarantee any specific outcome or dollar amount. If we do not save you money, you owe no success fee.
8. Liability limit
To the maximum extent permitted by law, HalfOff's aggregate liability for any claim arising out of these terms is limited to the fees you actually paid to HalfOff. Some states do not allow certain limitations, so this may not apply to you.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Harris County, Texas.
